The recording, post-production and mixing studio is the productive heart of Opensound. This is where the sound of the music in our library is created. Our studio is further enhanced through the possibility of synchronizing music onto an existing film or to a storyboard.

We dedicate special space and technical resources to restoring old tapes and records and to managing musical archives in order to transfer the material from old to new data storage devices.

Our new recording room has some very special features: we record in a large church which has wonderful acoustics and a total absence of outside noise, thanks to its location. The internal reflection of sound has been corrected with a wall of absorbent panels which divide the nave from the apse and create a more controlled acoustic environment. The church contains a Tamburini liturgical organ with three manuals, in a perfect state of repair and tuning.

It is therefore possible to make state-of-the-art recordings with orchestral and chamber ensembles, choirs, soloists, performing over a recorded base. A particularly exciting feature is the possibility of making multi-channel (surround) microphone recordings, thanks to the large space available and the expertise of Opensounds technical staff in working with this standard.

Our Rates:
Hourly rate: 60 euro
Daily rate (8 hours): 360 euro
Weekly rate: (5 days) 1,500 euro
